March 11, 2006: Immortality.

I'm not COMPLETELY afraid of death, I'm only afriad of dying as just another face in the crowd, who'll disappear after a little while. The only way to avoid this is to make an impact. Not just a tiny impact that can be covered with some dirt, I want my impact to be a giant meteor that shocks half the world, if not more.
There are several ways to do that. One is to be an actor, but not a "Olando Bloom is SOOO hot! I want to marry him!" That guy will fade into nothing. now Grucho Marx, one of my heroes, made an impact. He's long dead, yet no one has forgotten him, his jokes and movies are not gold at all. They're platinum. He's immortal now and forever, just like my dad passed his greatness to me, I'll pass it on, and Orlando Bloom, Jonny Depp, Tom Cruise, and everyone else like them will disappear. But Groucho, he is immortal forever. But Acting isn't for me, and my voice just isn't up for it (I sound 7.)
Another one is to make music achievements. Mozart, Beethoven, and some other guy with wild grey hair. These guys bore the youth, sure, but can you name five muscians off the top of your head without name the above two? I didn't think so. But I'm not that great at playing insturments (but I can play the first two lines of Beethoven's 3rd).
Next is art. Men have achived greatness. But most of them had to die first. And such fame is not quite possible any more. Go ahead, name three modern artists. As for me, I have the art skill of a donkey. I WAS going to say elephant, but...
Then there are those wackos like Hitler. That's an area I DON'T want to touch with a 9 and a half foot pole.
That leaves Literature, not any literature, mind ye, fiction is a must. I have skills to do this, if only I could complete MY great work. Why only fiction? Name one great nonfiction writer. JUST ONE! YOU CAN'T!
Anyways, I don't want to die as just another face in the crowd, I want to be known!
