March 13, 2008: My Cafe
Recently, when I go to Starbucks, I think to myself "what if their was a cafe chain that specialized in Hot Chocolate instead of coffee?" Personally, the way I'd run is you choose a flavor (Milk, dark, white, and mixes of the three), then you can get toppings for a few extra cents (Whip cream, marshmallows, marshmallow goop, cinnamon, the like.) We'd still serve coffee with the same choices, but it wouldn't be a prominate. The cap would be designed for less spilling, and the price would kept affordable. We'd also sell baked goods made inhouse, so you don't have eat donuts from a Starbucks warehouse in Ohio. During the summer I could also sell iced chocolate. Now the question is, how success full would this be?
