Who is Maestron Brogalio?
I realize now that besides my ramblings on various subjects, you know nothing about me as a person, or Multiverse expert. In this article, I will try my best to relate my past and present in the field of Multiverse Study.
When I was younger, before I had the brain capacity to comprehend the idea of a “Multiverse,” I found I was plagued (although I thought it was a gift at the time) with the ability to implant myself rather smoothly into the world of my favorite television shows and movies and work my way quickly into a very influential position. Unfortunately, my childish ideas often wreaked havoc on the natural order of that world, which would cause it to schism into two Universes: the Prime and the one I’d designed to suit myself.
As I grew older, I kept up my practice of re-creating Universes, and I’d also fuse some from time to time. My biggest project was a fusion of Animorphs and Sonic the Hedgehog which segued somehow into Pokemon and Digimon, and from there to Harry Potter in one un-interrupted flow. At that point, I started developing the character that would soon take the name of Maestron Brogalio. After tweaking Harry Potter up through Book 4, and the entire works of Brian Jaques, I discovered Neopets, the online virtual pet community website. It was after I tried to get involved in the weekly compilation of user stories and artwork called the Neopian Times that I created the name I’d use on the web and across the Multiverse, and I also learned the power and responsibility of being an Author.
Nintendo Acres is my first big foray into the creation and maintaining of a Universe, and I’ve learned that I get a big ego and slightly sadistic streak when I get directly involved in what the residents of my Universe are doing. I mean, look at what King and I put Link through! However, when I build a Universe that’s meant to stand on its own… Actually, that’s what a Universe is supposed to do so I guess NA is more of a Dimension than a Universe. Anyway, when I build a real Universe, like in my in-the-works novel, I’m a lot more sympathetic to all characters, good and evil, and try not to put them through any extraordinarily weird or sadistically humorous situations.
My focus in studying the Multiverse is on those Universes which were created by Authors, and especially on the Magic Laws within those Universes. So I could be described as an Investigator of Magic in the Literary Multiverse, with a hobby in understanding the Void Between Dimensions.
